MY Work

Employment Group

Website Redesign & Development • CMS Architecture & Template Creation • Information Architecture • Dynamic content relationships and filtering • Visual Design & Imagery Creation

Employment Group (EG) is a large staffing and recruiting agency offering a broad range of workforce solutions. This project involved a full website redesign and development to streamline a complex content ecosystem, clarify EG’s service offerings, and create a scalable, SEO-friendly site aligned with a new brand direction.

The Challenge

EG’s website supported a wide range of services and specialties, but the experience lacked consistency and clear navigation. With three core offerings and nine sub-offerings, it was difficult for users to understand how services related to one another or move easily between them. At the same time, the site housed a large resource library and needed to reflect a newly evolving brand style.

The Approach

Using EG’s three core offerings — Talent Strategy, Recruitment Solutions, and Workplace Services — as the foundation, my team and I restructured the site to create a clear, intuitive hierarchy. I designed a system where each of the three offerings and all nine sub-offerings shared the same layout structure, visual language, and type of content. This ensured consistency across the experience while helping users quickly understand what to expect as they navigated between services.

A strong focus was placed on simplifying navigation, making it easy for users to move between offerings, sub-offerings, and related content without friction. I worked closely with the designer leading EG’s brand refresh to apply the updated style guide consistently across the site, and created all supporting imagery to reinforce that visual system.

To manage EG’s extensive resource library, I implemented a structured CMS system using custom post types for blogs, case studies, press releases, and white papers. These resources were dynamically connected to relevant offerings and sub-offerings, alongside a topics system that allows content to be filtered by both subject and service. Leadership profiles were also built as custom post types and linked to relevant resources, creating a cohesive, SEO-friendly content ecosystem.

The Outcome

The redesigned website delivers a streamlined, cohesive experience that clearly communicates EG’s services while supporting a large and growing content library. Consistent templates, simplified navigation, and dynamic content relationships make the site easy to use, easy to maintain, and scalable for future growth — all while reflecting EG’s expertise across workforce solutions.
