MY Work

H&G Marine

Website Redesign & Development • Content Structure & Organization

Employment Group (EG) is a large staffing and recruiting agency offering a broad range of workforce solutions. This project involved a full website redesign and development to streamline a complex content ecosystem, clarify EG’s service offerings, and create a scalable, SEO-friendly site aligned with a new brand direction.

The Challenge

H&G Marine’s existing website was extremely minimal, with limited content, only a few images, and little information about their services. Aside from the existing logo, the site lacked visual impact, clarity, and the detail potential clients need to confidently reach out for large construction projects.

The Approach

I began by restructuring H&G Marine’s services into three clear,user-friendly categories: Residential Docks, Boat Lifts, and Seawalls & Jetties. Working closely with the client, I developed detailed service descriptions that focused on what prospective customers would care about most when evaluating marine construction work.

Because the quality of H&G Marine’s projects is best communicated visually, I prioritized imagery throughout the site. I worked with the client to gather photos from all stages of completed projects and designed layouts that allowed the work itself to take center stage. To further highlight transformation and craftsmanship, I introduced a before-and-after image comparison feature that lets users visually swipe between project states.

I also collaborated with the client to collect customer testimonials, integrating them prominently on the homepage to build trust and credibility with new visitors.

The Outcome

The redesigned website provides a polished, professional online presence that reflects the quality of H&G Marine’s work and supports their continued growth. Clear service organization, strong visual storytelling, and real customer testimonials work together to create a site that feels trustworthy, informative, and visually engaging for potential clients.
